- If the pet stay is under 24 hours, PetExec defaults to one day (charge is for one day).
- If the parent picks up the pet late, PetExec does not automatically start charging for the next day until 12 hours (1/2 day). Once it reaches 12 hours past the last day of boarding, PetExec automatically rounds until the next day (charging for an additional day).
- Moving a pet from daycare into boarding creates a new record and the boarding will start from that time.
- You can move a pet from boarding to daycare as many times as you need without having to check out the pet. PetExec highlights in yellow on the dashboard to indicate that a boarding dog is in daycare but will return to boarding.
- If a pet is in boarding and you want them to check into daycare, you can sign them in as you would any daycare customer. PetExec will automatically highlight the pet information on the dashboard to indicate that the pet is a boarding customer.
- If for some reason you need to change the start date of the boarding, you can modify dates right from the dashboard. Click on the start time and enter in the correct information.
- You can also change information by selecting the cart symbol next to the pet from the dashboard.
A PetExec Tip ‘O the Tail for you:
If you provide free daycare to boarding customers, you can add a “daycare type” and name it complimentary boarding or another name you like, and set the amount to $0. The same technique could be used if you provide a reduced rate to your boarding customers for daycare.
